Artwork by Jeremy Deller officially opened to the public.

As of today, Ask the Animals, and They Will Teach You, Jeremy Deller's artwork on the Van Bunnenplein in Knokke-Heist, is open to the public. Under strict supervision of other bystanders, Olivia (5 years old) was the first to test the ride and let herself slide down the long chameleon tongue. Her verdict?

FIVE stars!

Several slide experts from different corners of the country then took themselves for a little test ride to confirm the verdict.

With this beautiful attraction, Jeremy Deller does not only want to pay tribute to one of the oldest and most magical creatures on earth. He mainly wants to offer an alternative to the serious, heroic monuments that adorn the streetscape.

The chameleon can be admired by people of all ages. We leave the sliding itself to the experienced under-12s.
